Yesterday, the scientists of room 212 got to use their iPads to observe the trees in the plaground at Francis Wyman. Ms. Pavlicek asked the students to use the camera application to examine the trees in the schoolyard. Student took pictures of the whole tree, the leaves, seeds, and bark. These pictures and student observations, helped them to determine what type of tree they were studying. Today we started our first e-book. Students are using the Book Creator application to incorporate pictures and facts to show me what they have learned and know about trees.
