Live Snake Feeding

Today we had a very special experience in school.  Our class got to watch a live snake feeding in Mrs. Scott's class.  Ms. Pavlicek came to teach us about how snakes eat.  We got to see how a snake's jaw bone works to eat its prey whole.  Then we actually got to watch a corn snake eat.  We are very lucky to have these kinds of experiences only available thanks to our fabulous science center!
