Homework

READING CLASS

Reading teacher gives reading homework for the week including a daily reading bingo sheet.  You may also get practice reading from the reading teacher.  Please return all books immediately after reading!  Each third grader should be reading 20 minutes every night.  This does not have to be torture!  They can read chapter books, picture books, magazines, websites, sports books, etc... Reading is reading!!!  Writing prompts should be at least 6 sentences and should be returned Friday.  We home to see longer and more quality sentences as the year progresses.

HOMEROOM

The homeroom teacher will give math practice, science, or social studies homework.  This will be a nightly homework.  Most likely, the homeroom homework will come home on Tuesday & Thursday.  Please return this homework the next day.
