We have been researching insects this week and one interesting insect we studied was the ANT. We learned about the main body parts of insects and built our very own ant. Students read the book Thinking About Ants to help them learn about the jobs and interesting facts about these creatures. Each student chose an illustration from the text to draw as their ant backgrounds. Check out these 3D ant pictures!

Field Day
We had a great time out at the back field today! It was cold, but that didn't stop anyone. Some of the highlights were tug- of-war, relays, base run, messy backyard, and lawn bowling. We also got to watch A Bug's Life to get us ready for our insect unit. Check out some pictures.
