Field Day
Field Day was a huge success! It was a beautiful day. Everyone was all smiles all day. In the morning, we used fidget spinners for some math, ela, and PE activities. Outside, students had fun at 12 different stations. I made a deal with the class... If the class displayed good sportsmanship all day, I would get in the dunk tank. Their manners, sportsmanship, and teamwork made field day so enjoyable. Needless to say, I got DUNKED! Check out the slow-motion video and some photos from our day!

FW Garden and Instrument Building
Last week we had perfect weather for planting in the Francis Wyman Garden plot. Mr. Coppola from the community garden, came to help us plant squash. Students had to weed, turn the soil, and plant the seeds.
On Friday our class got to make their own instruments. Students came up with a plan, built the instrument and learned how to play high and low sounds. It wasn't hard for them to turn "noise" into "music."
